Personal Shopper

Working so far away from home has its benefits, one of the downsides though is that often you are away from those you love at the most special times. In any family there are occasions - your son or daughter passes a driving test or exam, your parents celebrate retirement, someone close has a baby, or a relative is in hospital and needs cheering up. Even a simple gift or card at these times is like a much-needed hug.

Expat Network understands how important a real connection to loved ones is and we have always provided a successful and comprehensive gift service catering to all occasions and budgets. We even go that extra mile by providing a Concierge Service where we take your shopping list ideas and turn them into gifts, wrapped and delivered to your family.

Let us help you keep contact with your loved ones. We have an enviable reputation when it comes to taking care of your gift-giving. Hundreds of fellow expats have used the gift shop successfully over the twenty years Expat Network have operated the service. Don’t take our word for it, the ‘testimonials’ on our website speak for us.

Whatever you want to send, whether it is a hamper of Christmas goodies, a special bouquet of flowers, or a customised list of your requests, we can always make it happen.

Our personalised shopping service is used throughout the year - you can send us your list of people and presents - we then go shopping for you and only ask you for a small administration charge on top of the gift and delivery price.

Carol Meadows, enjoys the challenge of buying, wrapping and sending the gifts (you order) to your friends and family in time for Christmas Day. We can source vouchers from High Street stores or organise theatre trips, adventure breaks and pampering days.

Once that is done, sit back and wallow in the praise!

Flowers

Wonderful to give and beautiful to receive. Flowers say so much! Floral gifts have always been a favourite way of showing you care. Whether elegant, dynamic or traditional, we can arrange a bouquet or floral arrangement to suit your needs.

Our Concierge Service

OK, you’ve looked through the gift shop but there’s nothing to suit one particular person on your list. You know the person well and have a good idea of what you want to give them but you are of miles away offshore Nigeria, how will that work?

Quite simply, we’ll run down the shops for you, get what you want (within reason of course, we can’t realistically be expected to send an elephant or a Mercedes to your girlfriend or great Aunt) pack it up, write your message and put it in the post.

This service is not restricted to material gifts either – we have arranged theatre nights out, trips to London to shop and spa weekends... For more information, or to send your requirements, email Carol Meadows.

Gift Vouchers

Some people you just shouldn’t buy for, they appreciate your effort and the love you feel but know exactly what they like... and what they do not.

No problem, send a little retail therapy in the form of a voucher – Marks & Spencer, La Senza, Selfridges, Harrods, House of Fraser… the choice of store is endless and not limited to clothes, book tokens can easily be arranged and even garden centres have a gift voucher scheme. For more information, email Carol Meadows.

Organised Days Out

Not often for the faint-hearted your nearest and dearest might like a hot air balloon experience, or paintballing. Someone you love may dream of a weekend at a health farm, a day at the races or a night out at the theatre.

“A member’s wife was whisked down to London for the day with her best friend. The pair stayed at a London hotel, enjoyed a night at the theatre and a day of shopping in London’s West End – all organised by Expat Network’s own, Carol Meadows. The expat was delighted and his wife and friend full of praise.”

Karen, Australia

“Having been a member of EN since its founding, I have used the shopping/gift services on many occasions over the years. I find the service and quality of the highest standard. I have often sent flowers - always on time and delivered in good condition, I have also ordered children’s and adult gifts, Christmas hampers and once a Cornish tea for my long-suffering wife. The service is excellent, a most helpful team. Well done EN, keep up the good work!”
