Salary Survey

Expats need to have a rough idea of their salary requirements, it’s a question often asked at interview.

How would you feel?

You might have just finished up in Djibouti and are in line for a new position on the Pearl in Dubai. The two locations have no basis for comparison, except that both need your services.

Salary Comparisons

On the Expat Network site you can search your location and job title to gain a better idea of salaries in regions unfamiliar to you. Actually, the search is far more sophisticated. You can select more than one industry. If, say, you are working in construction on an oil refinery, both ‘construction’ and ‘oil’ can be selected.

Where does the information come from?

Your fellow Expat Network members supply the information, some give the barest minimum required, others are rather more expansive. There is a ‘free text’ option where you are encouraged to expand on the location, leave cycles, benefits, living allowances, and bonus’s. It would certainly help another expat make the right decision, but this is up to you.

The more expats who take part in this important survey, the better the accuracy of the results.

Strict confidentiality is guaranteed to all expats taking part in the survey.
