My client, a leading European main contractor operating across the globe and, is currently recruiting for a Contracts Administrator to assist with the management of contracts and claims for a number of civil and Build projects.
This position is an urgent requirement and ideally, the successful candidate will be able to start at short notice.
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
-Supporting the Senior Contracts Manager.
-All contracts administration duties; preparation, review and presenting.
-Reporting and presenting the progress of projects in regard to claims and contracts.
-Continuous review of projects in regard to contracts.
-Advising on cost and contract matters.
-Advise on the contractual relationship with subcontractors and suppliers.
-Assist in the defence /approval of any claim for cost variations.
-Liaising with Head of Contracts and Project Managers in regard to contractual aspects.
As the Contracts Administrator, you will ideally possess the following experience:
-Educated to degree level that is relevant e.g. Engineering or Law
-8+ years’ experience in the construction industry. -Solid Contracts / Commercial background.
-Successful track record of working on heavy civil projects.
-Excellent negotiation skills.
-Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
-Fluent in English, be able to speak other languages is preferable.
